At the European Microwave Week (EuMW) in the Jaarbeurs Center Utrecht, held from September 21–26, 2025, the MID4Automotive consortium successfully showcased the project through a public workshop and the presentation of scientific results. At the booth of the partners Astron and Perisens, project flyers were distributed to interested visitors.
The scientific contributions of Paderborn University and the Fraunhofer Research Institute for Mechatronic Systems Design IEM were presented in the talks “Electro‑optical Integration of an Electronic Photonic Integrated Circuit into Plastic Substrates using MID Technology” and “FMCW Lidar System for Large Aperture Phased Array MIMO Based on LEDs”, highlighting the latest research results to the audience.
In addition, the workshop “High‑Resolution Radar Technologies for Future Automotive Systems” brought together scientific and industrial experts who provided an overview of current developments and future trends in automotive radar technology.
